Nissan and EVgo Expand Charging Network

Nissan and EVgo are teaming up to expand the charging network for EV drivers. Now, Nissan and EVgo are installing 200 direct current fast chargers (DCFC) across the country. These new chargers are capable of delivering 100kW and come equipped with CHAdeMO and CCS connectors—that way, more EV drivers throughout Butler and Parsippany will be able to use them.

If you are not familiar with EVgo, EVgo is the nation’s largest and most reliable fast charging public network for electric cars. They have over 1,200 DC fast chargers across 750 locations.

"Nissan is proud to have partnered with EVgo to build the largest public EV fast charging network in the U.S.," said Aditya Jairaj, director, EV Sales and Marketing, Nissan North America, Inc. "Given the tremendous driver response to the 2019 long-range1 all-electric LEAF, Nissan and EVgo will accelerate fast charging by committing to a multi-year charger construction program that will continue to expand fast-charging options for EV drivers across the country."
